CHEMICAL PEELS

Chemical peels exfoliate dead skin cells, revealing a more youthful & vibrant complexion. They also help reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, & skin discoloration, promoting healthier & smoother skin. With varying depths, chemical peels can be tailored to meet individual skin needs, offering minimal downtime for lighter peels & significant rejuvenation for deeper treatments.

ABOUT CHEMICAL PEELS

At Skin Body & Soul Med Studio, we offer the Perfect Derma Peel & the PQ Age Peel. Both chemical peels incorporate various active ingredients to exfoliate dead skin cells & reveal a new layer of skin. Both peels are considered medium depth, medical grade chemical peels.

The Perfect Derma Peel is a medium-depth chemical peel designed to improve the overall tone, texture, & clarity of your skin. It’s one of the only medical-grade peels that includes glutathione, a powerful antioxidant, which helps brighten the skin & fight signs of aging. Key ingredients: TCA (Trichloroacetic Acid), Retinoic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Kojic Acid, Phenol, Vitamin C, & Glutathione.

The PQ Age Peel is a non-invasive, no-downtime chemical peel designed to deeply rejuvenate the skin without visible peeling. It’s often called a "lifting peel" because it provides immediate firmness, brightness, & smoothness, making it popular for special events or ongoing skin maintenance. Key ingredients: TCA (Trichloroacetic Acid), Kojic Acid, Coenzyme Q10, & Peptides.

wHAT IT IS

A chemical peel involves applying a chemical solution to your face to remove damaged skin cells & stimulate a fresher, younger-looking complexion. When the dull, damaged surface layer of your skin is removed, new, healthier cells grow in its place. Different types of chemical peels use various acids, some stronger than others.

The Perfect Derma Peel works by applying a blend of powerful acids & antioxidants to the skin, which gently exfoliates the top layers. Over the next few days, the damaged outer skin peels away, revealing fresh, renewed skin underneath. This process stimulates collagen production & targets concerns like acne, discoloration, & fine lines for a clearer, more youthful complexion.

The PQ Age Peel works by delivering active ingredients like TCA & kojic acid deep into the skin, where they stimulate cell renewal without damaging the surface. This triggers collagen production & improves skin tone, texture, & elasticity from within. Because it doesn’t cause visible peeling, it’s a great option for those wanting noticeable results with no downtime.

how it works

With the Perfect Derma Peel, your skin may feel warm or tingly during the application, the peel will stay on for several hours before you wash it off at home. Peeling typically begins around day 2 or 3 & can last up to a week—this is completely normal & part of the renewal process. During this time, avoid picking or peeling the skin, follow the post-care instructions carefully, & expect to see brighter, smoother skin once peeling is complete.

With the PQ Age Peel, the treatment is painless & relaxing, with a slight warming or tingling sensation during application. There’s no visible peeling afterward, so you can return to normal activities right away with refreshed, glowing skin. Results—like improved texture, brightness, & firmness—are often noticeable after just one session, with continued improvement over a series of treatments.

Both treatments take approximately 30 minutes.
