DERMAL FILLERS

Lip Filler, Cheek Filler, Chin Filler, Nasolabial Folds & more

If you’re considering enhancing your facial features, dermal fillers offer a non-surgical option that may help restore volume & smooth fine lines & wrinkles. At Skin Body & Soul Med Studio, we offer a select few of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) dermal fillers tailored to target specific areas such as lips, cheeks, jawline, & nasolabial folds.

ABOUT DERMAL FILLERS

Dermal fillers are injectable treatments used to restore volume, smooth fine lines & wrinkles, enhance facial contours, & improve overall facial harmony. Most fillers are made from hyaluronic acid (HA)—a naturally occurring substance in the body that attracts & retains moisture, keeping skin plump, hydrated, & youthful.

As we age, we naturally lose collagen, fat, & bone support in the face. This can lead to flattened cheeks, under-eye hollows, thinning lips, smile lines, & sagging skin. Dermal fillers are strategically injected to lift, contour, & replenish lost volume, creating a more refreshed yet natural appearance.

At Skin Body & Soul Med Studio, I exclusively use the Restylane® family of fillers—a trusted, FDA-approved line known for its versatility, safety, & long-lasting results. Each formula is designed for a specific area or goal, such as lip enhancement, cheek contouring, jawline definition, or softening etched lines.

Results are typically visible immediately, with little to no downtime, & can last anywhere from 6–18 months depending on the product used & area treated.

wHAT IT IS

When injected into the skin, HA fillers attract water to the treated area, adding volume & hydration. This makes them ideal for addressing concerns such as:

  • Wrinkles & fine lines – especially around the mouth (laugh lines) & eyes (crow’s feet).

  • Loss of facial volume – especially in areas like the cheeks or temples, which may hollow with age.

  • Lip enhancement – for fuller, more defined lips.

  • Under-eye hollows – for a fresher, less tired appearance.

  • Facial contouring – like adding volume to the chin or jawline.

HOW IT WORKS

Dermal filler treatments are safe, effective, & highly customizable with little to no downtime. Whether you're restoring volume, enhancing lips, or contouring the cheeks & jawline, the process is designed to be smooth, comfortable, & tailored to your goals.

During Your Appointment:

  • We’ll begin with a consultation to discuss your goals, facial anatomy, & treatment plan.

  • The area will be cleansed & numbed with a topical anesthetic for added comfort.

  • The filler is then injected using a fine needle or cannula, depending on the area. You may feel mild pressure or a pinch, but discomfort is minimal.

  • The procedure usually takes 30–45 minutes, depending on how many areas are treated.

Immediately After Treatment:

  • You may notice mild swelling, redness, or tenderness at the injection sites—this is normal & typically resolves within a few days.

  • Some patients may experience bruising, especially around the lips or under-eyes.

  • You’ll see instant results, though full settling occurs over the next 1–2 weeks.

  • You can return to most normal activities right away, but we recommend avoiding intense exercise, alcohol, heat, & pressure on the treated area for 24–48 hours.

Results & Maintenance:

  • Fillers can last anywhere from 6–18 months, depending on the product used, area treated, & your individual metabolism.

  • Routine touch-ups can help maintain your results & prevent the return of volume loss over time.
